How to get there:
From Columbus take 71 north to Polaris Parkway and make a right. Go about 2 miles to Africa Rd. and make a left. Continue north on africa rd. past the dam. Make a right turn on the second road to your right and the trails will be on your left.

Fun trail. As stated above lots of roots. Fast but the roots slow you down alot. Moderate technical difficulty. Many wood bridges and a long banked section of wood platform. Can be muddy but bridges get you over the always muddy low points. Several big log crossings and many smaller ones. One creek crossing with rocky exit. Keep your eyes out there are several alternate paths one which is a short downhill shot fun for a quick adrenaline boost. Follow orange and black arrows. One point it dumps you by the road and trail follows along the roadside, keep your eyes out or you end up at the lake not sure where to go. Will be riding phase two next week.

This is a good trail with lots of variety. Nothing to wild a hardtail can't ride easily. Fast at times with lots of switchbacks. I rode the Phase II (best loop) 3 times and it has been dry/dusty everytime, except for the fun creek crossing. Few good climbs. Lots of roots in some sections that can get annoying. Overall its a fantastic trail for Central Ohio.

This place is really good. There is a new trial course across the street that has a teetertotter, logs, bridges, and many really good things! Check it out!

This trail was a lot of fun. We rode the Phase II first then the Phase I. They were both were a blast. It's a very enjoyable ride and quite challenging at times. Even the Phase I had its challenges. It was a little damp out and the many roots on the trail got very slick. Overall a great trail for any skill level.

There is a new 6 mile trail (Phase II) opening this weekend - 10/1/05. It handles water much better and has very challenging sections. COMBO has put many hours into this new trail - come check it out.

Heed the warning about the trail when it's wet. Just saw this posting 2 days after riding the trail after a rain, and it was about 30% less enjoyable due to the mud packed onto brakes and tires. Can't wait to try it when it's dry!!!!
