Trail Description:
This is a very new trail and has several distinct types of riding. There is a great technical section at the beginning that is a great primer for the more technical rides in the state. Get ready for some long uphills (the climbs involve some short, very steep to long and gradual but on loose gravel and rock etc.) and a very fun descent down any of the skihills: speeds in excess of 50 mph w/ small bunny hops! The trail heads off south (right, after the crazy descent)into covered , muddy, semi technical switchbacks and small creeks. There are many unmarked trails, especially in the quarry, some easy and others not for everyone.

How to get there:
Right off Wilmot road in southeastern Wisconsin, near Il. border and route 173...just look for the ski park entrance and pay next to the skate park. Most maps I have seen show Wilmot mountain. Their website has a good map and direction on it.

Additional Notes:
The cost is a steep $8.00 or $75.00 year pass.

Wilmot is a man made glacial formation. Look at the houses around it, all the dirt was removed from local areas to create the "mountain"

Wilmot mtn was never a garbage dump. It is a glacial formation.

For those of you who don't know, Wilmont Mt. is not a Mt. at all. It is an old garbage dump converted into a ski resort. So don't ride on a hot summer day. And they still want to cahrge you $8.00. Good luck.
