Bring back the Panarama trails. You making enough mulch and compost to ease up on the fee, Drew. We just wanna ride homey!

I rode it in 2005. Contrary to popular belief, the white trail is clearly marked with numerous maps to show you how much of a sissy you are for complaining about being lost when in fact you've only ridden about 3 miles. I thought the trails were nicely done with some wicked sweet off camber switchbacks that made me throw myself on the ground. For shame. I am hearing mixed signals on whether or not it's still open. What gives?

The trail system is pretty sweet. BUT!!You start out on some very nice singletrack, and then you are lost in a huge field with no trail markings. I will not complain about the trail, but I feel the trail must have clearly marked areas to prevent people from getting lost and feeling frustrated making the day a BAD experince. I like the opportunity to ride the trails, but I think the trails need some TLC. Before spending your 8 bucks, ask yourself, do I really want to get lost and have to go back the same way you just rode? I'm just sayin! I will be back this time with some GPS and maybe I will hire Lewis and Clark to help find my way around the white trail.

Alas! Panorama Farm trails were closed on February 23rd.

The trails were well tended to but I have to say that the map needs some help and the trail markers were far and few between! But all and all a great day ride!! The day was capped off by the hot air balloons (that were almost low enough to touch) that land on the farm frequently.....Very Cool!! Well worth the Cash!!!

As for the aforementioned comments by "Drew", it's pretty clear this guy's not the owner of Panorama and has probably never helped to maintain or develop a trail in his life. If he had, he'd know that great mountain bike trails don't just happen. Walnut Creek, by the way, is a regional park that DOES charge a fee for access - not to mention our local tax dollars. So get over yourself and stop complaining. Panorama Trails has some of the best trails in the Mid-Atlantic and $8 is a small price to pay for more than 30 miles of incredibly maintained trails, lots of signage, trail blazes, color maps, and a very generous land owner. These trails are exclusively for mountain bikes, so you don't have to worry about dogs, hikers, ATVs, or nuthin'.

Panorama Farms is a great place to ride. I've made the drive from NJ to VA several times a year and it's well worth it. The trails are well maintained and groomed so they are rideable (not much hike-a-bike). There are easily 25 miles of trails that are clearly marked and maps are available as well. As for the nominal fee of $8.00...stop complaining! These trails are on private property and don't maintain themselves! Property taxes still have to be paid as well as a whole host of other expenses, so stop complaining and just ride.

The trails are nice, but I am a greedy bastard and am charging 8 bucks to ride. So for more than the cost of a movie you can ride my crappy trails or drive 15 minutes to Walnut and ride for free.

Great place to cruise on your mountain bike. Its evident that a whole load of work has gone into making this trail system. Every trail you ride is a long uninterrupted loop, perfectly laid out, groomed and maintained better than any trail I've ever seen. Smart rule to close down when its wet, it shows. The pay part is a bit hard to swallow, but considering the beauty of the place, the miles of opportunities and the proximity to so many of us, its well worth the $3.37 per week for an annual permit. Check it out and see for yourself. Its certainly worth the cost of a day pass to do that.
