Trail Description:
Surprisingly good single track trails, in a classic second-growth forest setting. Close to Seattle, and served by Metro Transit.

How to get there:
On Mercer Island, take Island Crest Way south from I-90, to SE 68th Street. Trails are in Pioneer Park, which is located NE, NW, and SE of the Island Crest Way/SE 68th Street intersection.

Additional Notes:
A good hour-long ride if you take the outer perimeter trails; another hour to ride the rest.

This trail was shiat! Bottom line -Chit! No stumps, no roots, no logs, no rocks, just nicely barked Mercer Island granny hiking, horse trails. Oh yeah, watch out for the piles of Horsey sauce!

Fun single track! Kudos to the guy who found dirt on Mercer Island.

OK, OK, it's not Moab ... but it is sweet, short, and "undiscovered".

Ripped this single-track up after Turkey Day - get the pressure-washer ready, but a neat hour-long single-track romp!

Flat- No challenge. If you are looking for any type of fun singletrack, look elsewhere. I rode at night just to see what was there and found no challenging terrain- more like a huge trail for walking your dog. And those horses..man do they rip up the mud!

I live on Mercer Island so this is a good place for me, if you get tired of Pioner then go over to Island Crest Park! Not as big but still fun

Excellent BEGINNER terrain. Great single track through the forest with very few roots and rocks on mostly smooth trails in a pretty flat area. Gotta ride, got no time and live on or near Mercer Island then intermediates+ will enjoy simply because it just feels so good to ride. Definitely not a destination place. Watch out for joggers, horses and horse manure.

This place rocks! Hard to believe it is so close to Seattle. A bit mucky if it has been raining for a few days, but does dry out fairly fast. Nice singletrack!

Your sharing the trails with horses. It's relatively flat but if its wet the mud is so thick in places, due to horseshoes, its nearly impossible to navigate. There are hardly any bikers, our tracks were original almost everyhwere.
