Rocky Gap State Park

Trail Description:
2 trails. Evitt's Mountain Trail is approx 5 mile out and back. Long, lung bustin' climb to top of mountain with reward of spectacular view at top. Fast descent to bottom either on double track or crazy loose single track along gas right of way. Trail 2 is a lake loop with mostly single track through woods. Some minor technical sections, some paved road sections. Nice views.

How to get there:
From Balt/DC take I 70 west to I 68 to rocky Gap which is approx. 3 mi. east of Cumberland. Make Immediate right at visitor centor and proceed to camping area. Park and ride to camp site 225 for beginning of Evitt's Mt. Trail. Just follow signs for orange blazed lake loop.

Additional Notes:
Fun ride that will tire you out! Not extremely technical but will build a good endurance base.
