Trail Description:
The trail start at 11150 feets and go arround a lagoon trought dirty pats on the high lands of the Sacred Valley of the Incas until Moray (a archeological place) next go to Maras (a colonial village)the trails are very esenics. In the end you must choose a road or a single track for the downhill, before you end your trip you can visit the salt mines, they are very impresive and they be there since inca´s time. The trip end at 9300 feets to high in the shore of the Urubamba river, near to urubamba town.

How to get there:
From Cusco take the road to Urubamba and leave the asfalt road in the 37th Km. After that you take a single track to Huaypo´s lagoon, you are there.

This ride is a blast! from beginning to end, I was in a state of amazement. only a few uphill sections (which at over 10,000 ft. really steal your wind). the salt pools near the end are awesome. very scenic trip.
