Gibbs Lake trails

Trail Description:
Lots of fun. Swim in the lake afterwards. Many loops to choose from.

How to get there:
South out of Port Townsend,Wa. on state 20. Left on state19 to West Valley road , (about 6 miles) turn right on W/V and go 4 miles to Gibbs Lake road. Turn right and go 1 mile. Parking lot on your right.

Took our 10 year old with us for this ride. Scouts trail was a easy start for him. unless you come back the same way the trails down are intermediate or advanced. The trails are very well marked with ski type markings. Our son got the the hang of the roots after a bit and walked many of the hills. overall this was a fun trail, we will be back!

My uncle helps to build new trails. The loop around the lake is a good one for average or less than rider. There are also some very hard uphills and downhills on other trails.
