Trail Description:
Levy is fun fast and flat, some other singletracks branch off of it. The road leads from the Savannah rapids pavillion to downtotn Augusta Ga. Additional trails have been added throughout the years by BMXr's and such.
How to get there:
Take I-20 to Bel-air road and head away from Augusta. Stay on bel-air till you get to Evans to Locks rd and follow it all the way to the end. Welcome to the levy.
Additional Notes:
Beware the joggers at night!!

No hills to challenge the cardio, but it is nice peaceful natural trail, except for going under I-20.

Don't know anything about the trail, but the "How to get there" section could use some correction. Take I-20 to exit 200, Riverwatch Pkwy. Head away from town, past the Pilot truck stop. Turn right at the light on Steven's Creek Rd. At the 4-way stop turn right on Evans-to-Lock Rd. That's a whole lot quicker and easier than going to Belair Rd.

There are two intertwined 2-3 mile loops within this system. They are technically very fun. Both can be done within a hour with a brisk pace.

the levy part they're talking about is just a dirt service road, but if you follow the railroad tracks past the city pumping station, there are a pair of short(20-25 minutes riding fast) single tracks that are tight and technical. . . a little bit like disco dancing and that X-terra commercial. . .fun for an everyday ride often really muddy. . . the levy is just a greenway for geeks with 2000 dollar bikes that never get any dirt on them...
