Tanglewood

Trail Description:
This trial has a lot of climbs but not long ones. A lot of logs but not very technical. This trail will be a good challenge for beginners but most beginners should be able to handle the trail. It definitely shouldn't be your first off-road experience though.

How to get there:
Go to Tanglewood Park and go to the visiters center and ask them they should have a map.

Very good trail! There are three trails total in Tanglewood. The racers loop, which is about 4Miles long. Then there are two smaller trails. All together it's about 8 miles total. Once again, very good, Very fast.

I've ridden Tanglewood a half dozen times when I'm traveling through the area. It's a good aerobic workout with very few hills and usually fast. They've added a few features over the past few years but it's still just a winding single track with a few logs and lots of roots. Roots would be the biggest obstacle for beginners and most all the logs have a way around them. It's not a technical ride but none the less does serve a purpose. Hats off to those who maintain it and were responsible for creating it. I live in Brevard so I'm a bit spoiled. Shouldn't be a place to take the family out for a ride for the first time. Start with some good double track.
