Trail Description:
Follow the Forest Service signs from the Parking lot/trailhead up to Lake Lamoille.

How to get there:
Head south from Elko on State Route 46 about 20 miles to Lamoille Canyon Road. 11 miles down this road and find the parking lot.

Multi-use / Hiking trail also; be forewarned.

Reply to Owen Ulph: The Ruby Crest Trail is excellent for hikers and horses. Try taking your bike to Smith or Steele lakes if you can't appreciate the trail to Lamoille Lake.

This is just a hiking trail, meant for hikers and not bikers.

I can ride this trail in my sleep. It ain't no good. It's a total waste of time.
