Trail Description:
This is possibly the best singletrack in all of Europe. If you're anywhere near this trail, you owe it to yourself to ride here.
How to get there:
The centre is well sign posted off the A470 in Whales.

Been riding Coed-y since 1996 & it just keeps getting better. Karrimor is for the xc whippets who like to climb all day. Not much downhill reward for the amount of climbing you have to do. MBR and Red Bull much more balanced in terms of ups and downs. Descents on MBR are some of the best anywhere. If you're a UK rider and haven't ridden Coed-y you're missing out big time!

Best in Europe is an overstatement, but the riding here is excellent. The Karrimor and MBR trails include tough techy stuff both up & downhill. Some downhill from the Pink Heifer are included in the MBR, and are best done on bikes with a fair bit of travel. The Red Bull trail is also a good buzz and a fair bit shorter at about 9miles. Most of the climbing is on FT and most of the descents are singletrack. The trails are superbly built and maintained, and make the most of the terrain. The forest and trails also take on a different character at different times of the year - but it really is all-season riding at C-Y-B. The shop and cafe are great and the people who run the place are geniune MTBers who really care about the place, the people and the sport - a top bunch of folk!
