This trail is most definitely the best for around the Houston area! There are man-made, wooden “playground’ obstacles that are an absolute blast to test your technical skills on with out risking certain death. Also, there are very fast portions that will let you rocket through the trees and with slight bends to keep you leaning on your bike like a down hill skier! They have added some new paths on the outside loops recently. These new trails are GREAT! There are a few points that it is like a roller-coaster with high peaks and steep troughs. If you go in the summer…. Bring bug spray!! After all, it is next to a creek and in Houston/Galveston.

Super wet at the moment due to recent rain but overall one of the best MB trails in the greater Houston area. Technical if you want it to and plenty of playground toys(ramps, seesaws) if your into that.

Does anybody know if this is strictly for bikes or is it runner friendly? I'd hate to get blindsided by a bike!

I went here for my first time. Mosquitos were the worst ever. I seriously got more than 50 bites in 1 hour. Fun entry and some steep, narrow parts, but overall a great ride.

This was my first time on the trail. I thought it was pretty good when i finaly found it not a bigginer course in some places. doesnt dry out fast at all after rain i went a week after it rained at it was still very muddy but over all pretty cool.

fun diverse trail. Great workout . If the rain ever stops I will be back on the trail. Much more challenging than Memorial and no two way traffic. Watch for snakes on home stretch fun roller coast ride...

This is not a beginner trail!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully the mutant musquitos are gone for the winter. I believe parts of this trail, could possibly be the most challenging in the area. The first section/entry is the best and most difficult cardio section at the park. Like the man-made structures different twist. All in all I like this course, worth the drive occassionally. AKA50

Aside from the mosquitos, this was a good workout. I liked all the bridges and ramps and "playground" section. I'll be back in the fall.

Just rode here for the first time in June. The first entry/part of the trail kicks ass, lot of roller coaster effects with exposed roots. I really appreciate the effort to build some NorthShore style structures,see-saw,elevated wood paths with some ramps and jumps. There are sections of this trail that are not for new riders are lower level bikes, will get hurt. All in all not a bad ride a little dull in parts, but the other sections make up for that. An absolute must strong!!! musquito spray, otherwise they will have you for lunch. Banzai
