#17: Central Camp Road and travels along an
easygoing graded dirt road that climbs toward Little
Shuteye Pass and Chiquito Ridge. It fords through a

Attention Downhillers and Jumpers!!! I forgot to mention that I've also been building some dirt-jumping trails along the San Joaquin River Bluffs including a few very short but aggressive downhill runs. If you're interested in more info (location, helping out, or a good recipe for creme brulee), e-mail me at guyfrumfresno@aol.com. You can also ask the good people at Tri-Sport to get in contact with me. My name is Del and I'm addicted to two defying gravity at lightening quick speeds on a single self-propelled machine.

Just to let everyone know to watch out for the downed tree between the start of double-0 and single-0. This season's weather has caused a lot of ruts (especially toward the bottom of single-0) but PLEASE watch out for the tree across the trail between double-0 and single-0. I hit it going about 20 mph + and broke my wrist. I also bent my Easton bars (gotta luv lifetime warrenties!). Anyways, it's a killer trail with tons of jumps and don't let the 'weekend warrior' rating fool you into a false sense of security. Because of the weather this last season, they should probably change the rating to 'advanced'. I recommend shuttling but if you enjoy punishment then it is a fun climb as well. Just watch out for crazy downhillers a.k.a. Me. Westside Bluff Avenue Biatchhh!

This is a fun trail. It starts with a long uphill ride on the road but the down hill is a blast. If you can bring two cars, leave one at the bottom and drive the other to the top with the bikes. It is about 5 miles to the top of the road park and ride the trail down. It will only take about 20 minutes to get to the bottom but what fun. Look out for deep ruts but lots of jumps and some rocks. Great for the person looking to improve their skills.

The trail is divided into three sections by the winding paved road up. The first two sections of trail are not a bad climb, but the road makes for a more enjoyable trip to the top on the third section. This trail is definitely worth the trip. It hosts a yearly downhill race, so it can't be that bad!
