Great ride!! First part of the trail is tough and the rise seems endless. The trail itself is clear except for a huge tree about halfway up blocking the ride. Overall great ride but real technical in some parts which keep the ride interesting. Most of the trail is shaded so a camelbak or a water bottle is sufficient. Overall great track and outstanding on your way down.

Anybody ridden this trail lately? (2006) The trail is awesome, but becoming overgrown. Tree branches slapping arms and blocking the view ahead. this trail could use some tlc.

Excellent trails. Forks has gret burgers and the lake is a great place to cool off after the ride.

excellent ride, not to hot in the summer, steep climb in the beginning the access road at the top is and easy climb but fun to fly down, watch out for soft spots on some of the turns

Rode this trail a few years back. The ride up was a granny gear grind that took the better part of 3 hours. The ride down was pure bliss. Some technical parts but mostly sweet fern lined singletrack for miles. Don't reaaly know about the old growth comment in the last post, but close enough.
