Lots of deep sand on the back trails but overall the trails were good. A few slight elevation changes and tight turns. It's a good time for hours of trail riding. Keeping up the momentum is a must and gear down for the sand.

Post Hurricane Rita-*-Tupelo Trail: Closed-*-Yaupon Loop Trail: Closed-*-Water Oak Trail: Converted service road. There are many points where water collects and there is significant sand on this trail. Don't waste your time with this trail.-*-Village Creek Trail: There are some sections with sand and there are three up-down sections, one of which must be walked. Watch out for many hikers since this trail leads to the swimming are of the creek.-*-Bicycle Trail: Very short trail with no sand, no hikers, and no walking sections. Most fun when ridden starting at the trail exit. There is no specified trail direction. This direction there is a great banked turn and small up-down section at the beginning. This short trail ridden in most fun direction makes this park worth visiting and returning to.

Village Creek Trail: This trail is a step up from the Water Oak Trail. There are some sections with sand, but most of the trail is dirt. There are three up-down sections, one of which must be walked. Watch out for many hikers since this trail leads to the swimming are of the creek.
Bicycle Trail: This is a very short trail, probably less than 1/8 of a mile. There is no sand, no hikers, and no must walk sections. I found this trail to be the most fun when ridden starting at the trail exit onto the main park road. There is no specified trail direction, but this will have you exiting the trial at the trailhead with a si
