Trail Description:
Warning! It only takes one mistake on one day of riding this trail and you could die...

It's a rim trail circumnavigating an old rock quarry with some 20 to 35 foot drop-offs less than a foot from the singletrack path... not for the weak-hearted.

How to get there:
Northeast Mason City... Highway 18 to Kentucky, North on Kentucky, East on 12th, North on Plymouth... about 1 mile up Plymouth road you'll see a pond on each side of the road... park in the gravel pull-off and explore.

The trail is really fun if you like single track rides and you like being on the edge a lot. The distance is short but it takes a little while to get around it all. Gets a little overgrown in the summer with the grass, so the best time to go would be spring or fall.The warning is right, I had a friend that was just WALKING his bike and he fell down a 20 foot drop off and came out of it with a broken hand, stiches on one knee and sprained the other knee.
