This is a long ride up to Lockett Meadow and then back down to your car. It is not a difficult ride as most of the riding is on dirt or jeep roads but the climbing will kick you into shape. The start of the trail is across the road from Schultz Tank on Schultz Pass Road. Start on the jeep road, Freidlein Prairie road, through Orion Spring up to Snow Bowl Rd. Turn right on Snow Bowl rd and climb for about 5 miles to Mile post 5.5. Take a right onto a rough double track. Ride down for about 2miles to Hart Praire road where you will take a right. After the climbing for approximately 5 miles on this graded dirt road you will come to an T junction with FS 418. Turn right on FS 418 and ride 10 miles to Lost Tank near Hwy 89A. Take a right all the way up to Lockett Meadow. At the top of the loop follow the trail to FS 146 (Waterline Rd). Take a left down the Fire road for a great downhill back to Schultz Pass rd and your car.

This is a good intermediate trail. There are some very fast straights and it is super flowy. There is 1 very technical rock section. Watch out for A LOT of hikers. Other than that put it in the big ring and go for it.

Epic ride on single track and 4 wheel drive road. Can avoid climbing through Lockett Meadow by shooting down to Schultz Pass Rd. Lockett Meadow route is prettier but adds 2500' in climb.
