Or, you can bag it and take the road back to the trail head.

WHIPOUT! Totally whipped out on a wicked washout last sunday (march 18th)just east of Aurora AND landed right on my clavicle causing "the worst compound fracture" of the right colarbone the local Denver Dr. has ever seen in 23 years of medicine. My front shoX are JACKED and my front wheel looks like a taco! Going under the knife Monday (march 26th) to get Fixed up (screws, metal plates that'll be fun @ the airport!) Wish me luck! Anyways just here to remind my local MTB'rs to be safe out there and Always wear your brain bucket mine saved my life FOR SURE (big ups to Giro). Have fun, see ya guys next summer, maybe in the late fall this year! : (
GET DIRTY for me!!!!!!

Don't ride it when the Prez is in town... my friend and I rode this when Bush was at Red Rocks, and we didn't know. We're riding along and suddenly Jeffco Sherriff's on horseback stop us and make us wait 30 mins while they check out our names, jobs and stuff. Like I had a grenade launcher in the bulge of my spandex. Wait, maybe it really IS a grenade launcher in there...

It's a great ride for the intermediate rider who wants to excell his limits on tricky downhills. Balance is a necessity on the south side of the trail!

Dionosaur Ridge is not for beginners! Challenge your technical skill! This trail is a blast and will help you learn balance while you maneuver over rocks. Good heart blasting climb in the beginning, then the rest is technical. Loop around to Mathhew Winters and try a few different loops. View the Red Rocks and enjoy the scenery. Have fun. Be courteous to hikers and other riders.

Though trail. I have ridden it both ways, in winter, and at night. Very technical, rocky and dusty. Watch out for cliffs. Suspension is almost mandatory. It has been civilized somewhat with the addition of steps where it was to be nasty water bars and loose stuff. Do not even think or riding here without a helmet
