Ride Summary:
Nice little out and back with minimal climbing.
Trail Description:
This will be a breeze! Take the trail at the back of Last Chance Campground and go about a mile until you cross Goose Creek. There may or may not be a bridge. Watch out, regardless of the season, the water is COLD and may be running high in the spring and early summer. After this adventure, the trail will take you about 1.2 miles to a log crossing. You can hike to the falls from here, not much riding to be had on the other side of the log. Up to you. The trail to the falls cuts off to the right. Nice 45 foot falls beckon.
How to get there:
Take Interstate 55 west out of McCall and go about 6 miles to the signed turnoff to Last Chance Campground on the right. Park and start riding here.
Additional Notes:
Last Chance Hot Springs is located about a half mile from Interstate 55 where the road crosses the creek. Nice trail will lead you there. Camping near by too.
