Ride Summary:
This ride has some fairly steep climbing but the view of the Boise Headwaters and the Sawtooth Mountains is worth it.

Trail Description:
To start, cross Idaho 21 and head up the jeep trail to Pilot Peak. The first two miles are steep and steady. Around mile three the road begins to flatten out a bit. There is a saddle junction at 3.25 miles. take the right road and spin up to the lookout. When you reach the top, kick back ,have a snack and enjoy the view. To leave, turn around and head back the way you came, but be prepared to lose a few fillings on the rough ride down.

How to get there:
Take Idaho 21 from Boise, east, through Idaho City to Mores Creek Summit. Park in the large lot on the right side of the pass.

this trail is at the millitary reserve!!!not pilot!! trail ## 22 think! going up is a 20 min steddy blaaa but the down hill is as fast as you can go and a jump every 30 ft some you have just enoph time to steer in to the next!! 1 min later back at the truck
