Trail Description:
From the gate, head up the fire road for about 3 miles to the plateau. From here you will see some singletrack options. The trail to your left will bomb you straight back down to your car. This trail, Moonscape, offers switchbacks, smooth hardpack, ruts, loose rocks and lots of fun. Once at the bottom, you will hit a street. Head west and back to Glendora Mtn. Road.
How to get there:
Take HWY 210 to Glendora. Exit at Lone Hill and go North to Foothill. Turn left onto Foothill to Valley Center. Turn right onto Valley Center. Valley Center changes into Siera Madder. As soon as it changes, turn right onto Glendora Mountain Road. At the first sharp turn in the road you will see a gate to the right. This is the trailhead.

the trail is actually a fire road, Monroe truck trail. The lower half has lately been washed out so after a mile up the wash look for the real road to the right. This road will take you 6 more miles uphill to Glendora Mtn. Road. The first 4 miles are the hardest, with several washouts and steep sections. After that the ride is generally rolling, exposed and easy. should take about an hour to an hour-fifteen to get up, around twenty minutes down.Fun, really hot on summer days.

Ride this to the top..about a 6 mile climb. when you hit the road, hang a left and at about 3/4 of a mile there is a gate on the right. take this fire road. It offers a good ride across the ridge and will drop you back down to sierra madre. hang a left on sierra madre and ride back to GMR. and back to the trail head
