The trail ends at Rt 11. I have no idea what an atv rider is supposed to do, but a bicyclist can easily ride north through central square, cross i81, and head back down to the railbed. it's decent riding although of course the atvers have chewed up the trail some. the rutland trail in st. lawrence county is much more chewed up. no bad if you like mud.
This trail continues past cleveland, but isn't publicly owned.

The trail is in great shape. There are a few trees down but not for long. This trail ends at rt 11 in central square. then somehow crosses over rt.11 and goes to interstate 81 ( I havnt found that trail yet) Then the trail starts on the east side of 81 a mile before the Central Square north exit and continues for 30 or so more miles. lots of side trails and sand dunes Trail follows the north shore of Oneida lake to sylvin beach and also goes north to happy valley state park and up into panther lake and redfield
