How to get there:
From Red River, head South on HWY 578 to Forest Service Road 488 on your left. Park here.

The 4-mile climb is about 1000ft of vertical. The cruise over to 4th of July is rocky in places but Foster Park is worth it. The plunge down the canyon is rocky, twisty, and fun. Once you hit the asphalt its a nice downhill cruise along the river into town. Park at the base of the pass road or in town.
