Trail Description:
Placitas Trail is a fire road that loops through the base of the Sandia Mountains. This ride would be rather plain, but fortunately there are a bunch of singletrack spur trails that head off into the woods that are worth exploring. Some trails are closed to bikes though, but you will find plenty to keep you smiling.

How to get there:
From Albuquerque Take I-25 to HWY 44. Follow HWY 44 to Forest Service Road 445 and park here.

good trail to ride you tend to find a lot of horse back riders and hikers on the weekend but not so many that it's hard to ride just look out nothing to crazy on this trail.
