Trail Description:
The Rio Grande Trail is great for beginner and intermediate riders looking to experience more singletrack. The terrain is fairly easy, but you still get the joys of riding some singletrack. The trail starts and Candelaria Blvd. and continues to the Paeo Del Norte Bridge.

How to get there:
From I-25 In Albuquerque, go West on Candelaria Blvd. to the Nature Center. The trail begins near the entrance to the Nature Center.

Additional Notes:
No bikes are allowed within the nature Center.

Reminds me of them old Campbell Road trails 'for they burnt down. Riding outside the trail to avoid sandy areas is about the wussiest thing you can do. Please help preserve the area and keep these trails open by riding the middle of the trail.

Trails stretch along the river. Great dirt trails around Central behind the aquarium. Park in lot and ride north on dirt road past water reserve then drop down to the left. You will ride through trees for miles. Trail go's under I-40 and connects all the way to alameda.
