Trail Description:
As you would expect, this ride can get extremely hot during the summer. Plan your ride accordingly. There are a few trails here, but nothing that is too confusing so you shouldn't get lost. It is wide open so you can often see where the trails go. The trails are rocky in places and sandy in others. You may even see some wild Mustangs roaming around.

How to get there:
In Las Vegas, take I-15 to Blue Diamond Road. Go West on Blue Diamond towards the town of Blue Diamond. About 6 miles past town, look for a gravel road on the left side. About a half mile past is a pile of rocks on the side of the road where you can park.

Drove up from Southern California to ride this network of trails. Sure am stoked i did. This place is a blast. Super well marked and having a toilet in the parking lot is a bonus. Dead Horse Loop is the best. I will definitely be back to ride again. Cheers to all who build and organize this trail system. Now we only need CA to get on board with something like this.

alot of fun..great views and not to far out of vegas. Its for sure my favorite trail network i have ever ridden. Watch out for the desert mule deer...and make sure u have extra tubes and a pump because hiking your bikes not any fun ..trust me i experienced it.

The directions you've given are misleading! On Blue Diamnd highway DO NOT take the right turn to Red Rock/Blue Diamond stay on the highway and look for cars parked on your right approx 3 miles down from BD/RR turn off or go another mile more and see an outhouse (?) on your left with a parking lot and a gravel road heading south. For a good up and back fast descent pedal from this lot, down the gravel rd, first dirt lot on left go thru break in fence and climb to the lookout over Vegas (40 min climb-stay on main trail). This is Dead Horse Loop. Turn around and bomb down-fast & fun. There's tons of trails on both sides of the rd-not technical at all besides DHL & the Hurl but its fun, fast, and buff! Enjoy!

Kicked my butt today. Lots of uphill and sandy and big rocks at times. Very pretty ride. Xtra food and water, you will run out!! Thorn protection a must for tires, 4 flats 2 from thorns. Passed wild burros and their babies, cool!
