if your in JT, skip blue moutain and go to the bike shop by the stop light. its a nicer shop and they run all kinds of great adventures out of there like rafting and skirmish paintball too.

The trail map i got from that place was such crap. Don't listen to that stuff. That map tooks my friends and me 9 miles out of way. Yet the trails were orgasmic.

Do you want to see the trail before you go? Here's a link for a dvd the has footage of it: http:// www.filmbaby.com/product_info.php? products_id=221. Check with the locals for trail closures.

Try the Maunch Chunk Ridge trail. It is one of the "official" marked trails. A 2-hour mostly uphill section is finished with a crazy downhill rocky singletrack that goes straight down the side of the mountian.

The two hardest technical rides I know are located outside Thorpe, one on Mt Pisgah the other is the American Standard.
