Trail Description:
Avon Town Forest consists of about 15 square miles of singletrack, doubletrack, and dirt roads. There are a lot of trails to choose from so exploration is the key. The trails tend to be fairly technical with a few very difficult sections. There aren't many opportunities for the novice rider. Plan ahead and allow time to find your way back out of the forest.

How to get there:
In Avon, take HWY 44 to Lovely Street. Follow Lovely Street to Huckleberry Hill Recreation Center. The trailhead starts behind the soccer fields.

The directions listed are incomplete. From Rt. 44, take left onto Lovely St (Route 177), after approx 3 miles, take right onto Chevas Rd, then right onto Huckleberry Hill Road. About a mile on the right is Trailhead parking, or continue another mile or so up the road to the Huckleberry Hill Rec Area. Good variety of trails, very well marked, but not nearly 22 miles of trails that we could find, more like 8-10 miles of trails. A fun ride!
