Trail Description:
This park borders along Long Island Sound making for a unique and picturesque ride. The park consists of two main dirt roads that connect the parking lot with the point. Along the roads, especially the higher road, you can find some singletrack trails. There aren't a lot of singletrack miles, but the trails that are there, combined with the unique scenery make this ride well worth it.
How to get there:
From I-95, take Exit 88 in Groton. Head south on Route 117 towards the shoreline and turn right onto Route 1. Then turn left again onto Depot Road and follow it to its end and the parking lot.

Big enough, High enough, and one of the best days you'll have, a wonderful water walk, or trail hike, or bike ride. The Bluff Point overlook is one of the best in the state, bring some munchies, and a book........ and sit awhile. Probably the last "undeveloped" place on our coast you and your kids will ever see!! If you need a little more biking then follow the train tracks to Hayleys farm.

This is a great place to rife. I've been riding these trails for over 5 years and always seem to find a new trail to ride on. There are technical trails as well as new ones. There are trails on the the other side of the rail tracks and also more that connect to Haleys Farm. A great place to ride, just watch out for the "HORSEY POOP"!!

Good place for a quick workout. Fairly crowded. There is a sign close to the entrance singling out mountain bikers with rules and do's and dont's, even though it's the hikers and joggers that can't seem to keep to one side of the trail.

Great place to bring the beginners that you know. For better than average riders take the path along the railroad tracks. It will take you back behind the loop. The trails there are a little harder. The Loop is good for a burn, and for losing the beginners you bring.

I prefer doing night rides here and to add some more distance cross the tracks and hit Haley's Farm. (I believe that's what it is called).

Follow the road until it starts looping back, and you begin climbing . About 1/2 mile later you will see a bench. A short distance past the bench a fun single track bisects the road. Going left is fast fun trail, all down hill. Going right is a twisting, more technical trail mostly downhill. Fun place

This bike trail is all right. It's nice that is by the water. What made me frustarted was looking for the bluff, which wasn't so great. It's not a very long trail, but fun in some spots.e
