Ride Summary:
A place where mountain bikers are welcome! You've got to try this one!
Trail Description:
Tyler Mill is unique in a couple of ways. First it is owned by the town. Second they not only welcome mountain bikers, but encourage cyclists to use the trails.
The main trail starts at the far end of the parking lot. Go up the grassy hill and into the woods. After about .5 miles, this trail reaches a dirt road. Turn left down the hill and turn right onto the singletrack. This trail leads to a closed paved road and bridge. Cross the bridge and go up the hill looking for more singletrack up the hills.
How to get there:
From Middletown, get off Exit 14 at Center Street. Turn left onto Center Street and travel for about .5 miles. Turn right at the soccer fields into Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park. Park here.
Additional Notes:
Construction is threatening these trails.

This is a great place to ride. Nice technial sections with quite a few logs and some drop offs. You can easily get a 10-15 mile ride in here if you look carefully enough and remember the trails. A few rides here and you will know them as good as I do.

the town of Wallingford is considering banning mountain bikes from Tyler Mill because of environmental issues - action must be taken to avoid this!
