Trail Description:
The Providence Trails offer the most climbing in the Mobile area. In addition to the hills, you will find a bunch of inter-connecting trails with creek crossings, tight fast turns, and a cool bmx area that all add up to pure fun. Because there is some climbing, there area also some fun downhill sections.

How to get there:
From I-65 in Mobile, take Exit 3 and go West on Airport Blvd for about 4 miles. Cross Hillcrest and find the hospital on the left. The trails start on the south side of the hospital (pretty convenient if you happen to crash hard). Sorry, but we have no parking suggestions.

Additional Notes:
Home construction is threatening these trails.

Unfortunately developers have ripped the heart out of these trails. Still some winding around but merely a shell of what once were the best trails in the area.

Forget providence, new site development has all but erased any connections that the trails used to make. All of this land will be developed in the next year---sorry, go ride the u.s.a. trails instead!

True, their is an occasional fun downhill or climb, but the trails are terribly sandy and lose all value because of this. (P.S. They have tremendous potential.)
