Ride Summary:
Many of these trails are very extreme, though there are a select few intermediate trails.
Trail Description:
This area offers a lot of trails to choose from. The main trail starts with a technical 40 minute climb then leads you on a long technical decent to the Seymour river. This ride will rattle your fillings loose for sure. Don't forget about the grind back up. The trails here vary from intermediate to un-rideable. Though a trail may start out easy, you can quickly find yourself over your head. (literally) Many trails involve difficult stream and log crossings and there are a lot of ramps like the one pictured above.
How to get there:
In Vancouver go East on Mt. Seymour Parkway. Turn left onto Mt. Seymour Rd. and park near the office.
Additional Notes:
Be careful and don't ride beyond your abilites!

Severed Dik is pretty tough. I like to do log rides but man those rocky decents sure can get hariy, specially in the rain. Fun times.

If you want ro have fun on this mountain but are looking for some trails that aren't going to kill you ride up past old buck until you get to some concrete lane seperaters on the side of the road there is also a rest stop with an outhouse. ride behind the concrete barier. there is a trail head there. the trail opens up once you begin to descend at the bottom there will be a fork in the trail go left ride thar trail until you cone to a wide main trail go left until you reach a very tight, steep single track trail ride that untill you come to another main trail go right untill you reach a very unnotticable(keep your eyes open for it) non trailish looking trail ride this untill you come to another main trail go left take that trail to the parking lot a the bottom.

The trails on Seymour are fantastic. Many dedicated souls have put countless hours into building and maintaining them. And if you don't want to kill yourself riding up, drop a car at the bottom and drive up.
