18/08/2010 10:03 pm Its epic that with only a few lines of text in some instances and miminal use of images these websites come across as mini works of art. This is the future of website design. It looks professional, really easy to navigate and give the user not only a visual experience but a great simplistic website.

I work for the forest service. Trust me on this when I tell you dirt bikes, ATVs, snowmobiles, any and all off road vehicles except registered, licensed vehicles on approved roads, are illegal.

Previous poster states bikes are prohibited. False information. Check the Monongahela website. Bikes are allowed everywhere but a few 'wilderness' areas.

Very fun ride. After you pass private property, it is almost all national land. Up and down most of the way, so not to bad, but a ways in their is a take off point for hang-gliders, with a great view, but after that is a killer hill. Many trails go off of it to the vallys also.

The first 100-150 ft. or so is private property and the owner has posted no biking. Be cool and walk bike until Natioal Forest boundry. :)
