Ride Summary:
This is an advanced ride on singletrack with steep descents and climbs.
Trail Description:
Moose Packers is a great trail that can be used with many others in the area to create a number of biking loops. Moose Packers begins either off of Moose Mountain Fire Road, or from the West Bragg parking lot. A 20 mi. loop can be made using Moose Packers and three others. Beginning from the Station Flats Day Use Area head off onto Sulfur Springs trail, only when you reach the four-way junction head straight. Climb steadily up to Moose Mountain Fire Road, and turn to climb up it. Turn onto the hiking trail and follow it until you reach a three way junction, and turn right onto Moose Packers. Follow the singletrack as it descends in a set of steep and exciting switchbacks. Head down the access road and make an acute right hand turn onto Tom Snow Trail, and follow it beside Ranger creek all the way back to the parking lot.
How to get there:
Drive west of Bragg Creek on Elbow Falls Trail for 15 km until you come to the Station Flats Day Use area.
Additional Notes:
This trail gets heavy use. It's a blast but remember the rules of the trail, yield to all.

Beautiful ride, quads were burning up the hills, but appreciated the decent more because of it. Lots of mud in the lower areas. Looked like I just finished playing mud football when done. If you want to avoid the mud would wait 2-4 weeks.

Ha ha, that's only 90% of a trail alright, anyhow it is the most fun to get a ride to the top and shoot down a couple of times. Your driver can sit by a nice little pond while you ride.

moose packers is by far the least challenging trail
on moose mountain. drive to the top parking lot
and if you look around you'll find there are half a
dozen other trails that rank much higher in
difficulty, steepness, and fun. lots of steeps and
stunts with a nice long descent. regroup at the
lower parking lot to shuttle.

this is not an advanced trail. It's a great work out, but not that "hairy"

This is an excellent ride for a great work out on an evening during the summer. Driving up is recommended for the the ones who can't handle it, or the faint at heart. It is a great feeling to pass the guys who drove up on the way down. Bring some extra tubes or patches; for this is an excellant trail to case some sharp rocks. Very fast single track with some very hairy switch backs.

Drive and descend is the only way to do this trail. None of that climbing crap!
