Ride Summary:
A challenging adventure.
Trail Description:
A great adventure from the Dog River Valley to the Mad River Valley and then back over the Roxbury Gap. The ride starts off with some steep climbing on a dirt road that quickly turns to single track. Bald, Scragg and Burnt Mountains all rise about 3,000 feet to give you an idea of the climbing involved. Technical climbing and downhills. The trails cuts through streams and over lots of rocks. Some of the ride is on the flat Warren Road but it gives you a chance to enjoy the beautiful view of the Green Mountains. From there you have a mish mash of dirt roads, single track and pavement. A serious trek for 22 miles.
How to get there:
From Northfield go west on Union Brook Road. Stay to your left for about five miles and look for three way intersection with small green sign in the center. Park hear to the side of the road.

I'd like to know if this trail is still used since the last post is a little old. Is the trail marked and or easy to follow ? Thanks. PS: Haven't been there yet so ignore my rating.
