Freetown can be divided into four sections. The Ranger Station/Slab Bridge Road, The Gas Line, The Power Line and The Ledge. Copicut Road offers the middle starting place at the Triangle where Bell Rock and Copicut meet. Park there and you can ride to any of the sections. Expect rocks and roots, mud and lose stones. Bring a full suspension bike, GPS, tools and tubes. Ride 10 miles or 50 miles. We ride three times a week and can put together a different combination each ride. We nick name our favorite trails like Break Your Bike, Bent Rim, Bloody Ben, (broken) Wrist Rock, The Ugly Trail,The Ugly Trails Sister and The Intense to name a few. If you like tecnical downhill ride the Ledge. Even better try riding up it. Ther is something for every advanced rider in Freetown.

Good variety of terrain -something for everyone. Some trails very rocky and approaching advanced rating. Good winter riding as snow melts quickly. No significant hill climbing.
