Cross Vermont Trail

Ride Summary:
A Rails to Trails ride across Vermont.

Trail Description:
While this ride is long the terrain is non technical. Hence the weekend warrior rating. The trails cuts through three counties from Burlington to the Wells River. As part of the Rails to Trails conversion it is mostly gravel. You can get on and off at either end and in several places in between. You will be sharing this rail trail with hikers, equestrians, cross-country skiers, and snow mobilers so be on your best behavior.

Start in Burlington and contact the Department of Forest, Parks, & Recreation in the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources at 184 Portland Street in St. Johnsbury Vermont 05819-2099 for more information. Call 802-748-8787.
