A loop at Mad River Glen Ski Area.

Trail Description:
Just outside of Waitsfield you'll find the Mad River Glen Ski Area. Sugar Run is mostly twisting hard packed singletrack. The terrain on this trail is fairly technical with lots of rocks and roots. When the trail gets wet it becomes extremely muddy and challenging to ride. The route is along the river and through the woods is short enough to do twice.

How to get there:
From the town of Duxbury head south on Vermont State Hwy 100 to Waitsfield. Drive through town until you reach the Mad River Bike Shop. Take a right here and follow road to the Mad River Glen Ski Area.

This is one of the most misleading trail descriptions I have ever seen. Stop at Mad River Cyclery at corner of RT 100&17 for 'accurate' directions. And remember, local knowledge should be rewarded. Respect.
