Ride Summary:
Steep climbs and technical problems.
Trail Description:
Rices is tough right out of the gate. There is not time to warm up because the trail shoots up a steep pitch. What goes up must come down and the down part of this ride is fast and technical as well. Novice riders should stay off of this trail. At four miles advanced riders should do this one at least three times in a single ride. It will improve your skills.
How to get there:
Take Main Street from the center of town for about 4 miles until you see a sign for the Rices fruit farm. Turn left onto a dirt drive way for a church. Park is available in the church parking lot.

when youre in the church parking lot you have to go back on a gravel driveway that you see when you come in. This takes you back to a trail that goes right up the first hill that you see. From there you'll want to go down the back side of the hill and take the farmer's gravel roads back till you see a meadow with tractor/car tracks straight up the mountian. Take these all the way up and pass through another orchard on the mountain, keep going on up a grass and dirt trail till you see a packed trail on your left this is the actual in the woods trail. Nice uphills and downhills with lots of rocks. The whole thing is fairly loose due to the atv use but it is still a nice trail. Going back down the hill to get back to your car is the most fun part.
