Distance: 15.00 miles (24.14 KM)
Duration: 2 - 3 Hours

Ride Summary:
Great variety of trails, only open in the summer though.

Trail Description:
This ride is punctuated by rolling hills with a few steep climbs. The trail is well-marked from its starting point at Echo Lake east. The trail winds around a lot making it easy to get lost. Also, most trails are marked with a difficulty rating so choosing the right trail is easier.

How to get there:
From Eagle River, drive on State HWY 70 East for 11 miles to Fornier Road (forest road #2460). Take a right here and drive south for 3 miles, to a parking lot on the right.

Additional Notes:
Only rideable in summer and fall, when the trails are dry and free of snow. Great X-C skiing in the winter.

These trails are fantastic. Deep forest singletrack through all kinds of terrain from remote lakesides to deep forest cedar swamps. Something for everyone from rolling hills to extreme up-and-down hill on Devil's Run. The Nicolet North trails connect with the Anvil Trail cluster which is also a decent ride (this one includes the Devil's Run mentioned above). If you get the chance, I highly recommend the ride.
