This trail now has been partially ruined by a bobcat/dozer. There is still some sigle track, but nothing like it used to be. Just a dirt graded 6' wide trail with a few single trak spurs.

I would definitly say this is a great place to develope your skills in bike riding. The Coarse offers single track paths which mostly consist of long straight aways with little incline. and if you keep your eyes open you will find tons of narrow deer trails. yeah some lead you to a dead end, but most will criss cross the singletrack trails, and if you find the right one it will lead you down by the rum river for an awesome view. i recommend hitting this trail in the fall. and watch out for the deer. great coarse

To get there take US 169N to Hwy 47 North. Go right at County 116 and you'll cross the river. The trails are on your left. Park at the library. Some double track with lots of single track branching off it. Despite what the first commenter said there are no horse trails anywhere in Anoka. He must have been in an entirely different city along the Rum. The Trails are fast and smooth with some technical stuff along the river. Explore to make sure to see all of it.

i must have been on the wrong trail, cuz all i could find were paved walking paths that were criss crossed with some horse trails. other than the manure and softer surfaces and fresh rain it all was lame. i wish i could have found the right singletrac. i hate Anoka

A perfect place to work on your skills. These trails have everything you need and arent used that often. Main trail is a loop but many small trails branch off for some technical biking. A very peaceful ride with lots of wildlife along the Rum River. I live a few miles away but it would be worth the trip to hit this spot.
