Ride Summary:
A long intermediate ride.

Trail Description:
The National Forest Service recently opened a fifty mile stretch of the trail to mountain bikers. The entire trail reaches from Pinnacle Mountain State Park to Talihina, Oklahoma. Over 220 miles long. A tremendously pretty path through the heart of the state. Most of the ride is a gentle doubletrack trail. But there is enough single track to make it interesting. You can also reach the Womble and Little Blakely from this trail.

How to get there:
Though the trail is long and there are several starting points. It is easiest to start at Pinnacle Mountain State Park. To get there take Exit 9 off 1-430 to Hwy. 10, then west 7 miles to Hwy. 300, turn right and go 2 miles north to the park. Or you can take Pinnacle Valley Road north off Hwy. 10 just 3 miles west of 1-430.

The only portion of this trail that is open to mtn. bikers is from Y-City to Story. Spots are sweet singletrack. Other spots are forest service roads, and old logging roads. You can access the Womble, Big Brushy, and other trails, but you cannot access Little Blakely from this trail, but you don't want to anyhow. LB sux.
