Belleview

Nearby Town: Ocala, Florida
Ride Type: Many Trails To Choose
Trail Type: Single Track 70%
Dual Track 20%
Distance: You Pick
Duration: 3 - 4 Hours
Elevation Gain: not specified.
Climbing: Flat
Skill Level: Something for everyone
User Density: not specified.

Ride Summary:
Lots of trails with something for all riders. This is Florida so no extended climbs but miles of singletrack.

Trail Description:
There are many trails to take from the parking lot. The trails are marked to indicate level of difficulty. Yellow tags indicate beginner level trails, blue is for moderate level trails, and red trails are for experienced riders. Remember that the trails tend to wind and intersect with each other so listen for approaching riders. There are some side attractions other than the trails. A couple of old pits which used to be limestone quarries have a number of open (and challenging) areas. This place must be explored for the first time visitors. Spend as long as the sun last or bring a light and do some night riding!

How to get there:
North of Belleview and South of Ocala. Head either North or South (depending on where you start) on SR 27/301/441. Go west on County Road 328 (SE 80th St). Within 300 feet there will be a single lane dirt road on your left. Turn onto it, following it through the woods. Park in the small field.

This is one epic adventure every time we come. Well worth the ride from Melbourne, FL!! A little of everything for all skill levels, but the freeride area of the Vortex rocks! Love Anthill, John Brown, Magic Mountain, and all the epic trails around in the Vortex. The only thing is, this is 'Santos', not 'Bellview'. Bellview is down the road, and the Santos trails are in Santos which is part of the Greenway Trails. Anyway, a very rocking ride for all skills (very beginner to insane expert). Ride hard and be safe from TeamGoose!!
