Trail Description:
Powell Butte is a set of trails close in to Portland. There are several trails of varying difficulty throughout the park with over 15 miles of singletrack to choose from. Trails range from easy paved paths to some challenging single track. There is a good map in the parking area. For more challenging trails head into the forest.

How to get there:
From Portland take I-84 East. Then exit onto I-205 South. Exit at Hwy 26/Powell Blvd. Follow Powell East to 162nd and turn right. Follow 162nd up to the parking area.

It is sooooooooooooooo annoying that these stupid forms won't let you type capital letters!!! Almost as annoying as driving to powell butte, driving all over, not finding the trailhead but instead a bunch of houses. ended up parking at a water tower (legal?), bombing down a hill, popping a tire in a blackberry thicket and then having to walk all the way back up said hill. ended up having more fun on mt tabor riding around the pavement :(
