The trail starts at the back of the camping area. This is a super fast loop. If you ride it to the left as you get on to the trail it is wicked fast and plenty of good down hills, fast turns, and short uphills. This is a blast to ride, and the lake makes a great place to cool down after a hot ride.

Lick Fork and Horne Creek are actually two names for the same trail. This trail has plenty of roots and depending on whether you ride clockwise or counterclockwise, a long steady uphill climb or a short fairly steep climb that really makes it a bit more than a true beginner's trail.
