Trail Description:
This is a fun intermediate level ride. Start at the singletrack in the far left side of the parking lot. The best route is to follow Doctor's Trail. There are some technical sections and some hilly parts. Overall this is a good fast trail that loops you around through the park.
How to get there:
From Route 537 head north on Route 539. turn right across from the golf course at Davis Station Road. At the end of Davis Station Road turn left then a quick right onto Emily's Hill Road. You'll see the parking up on the left after about a quarter mile.
Additional Notes:
Be courteous to the horses, hikers and runners who also share the trail

Short track that can really kick your butt from the long uphill climbs. Few short, quick downhills will get me to 31mph. Just started going to clayton and its a step up from mercer county park.

A great little spot to ride fast. Lots of quick ups and downs. Some sections with roots and rocks...but mostly fast singletrack with packed dirt. Some log jumps...nothing too crazy. It is a very fun little ride. Reminds me of a roller coaster with quick ups and downs and one long downhill. Leave parking lot to the left past farm field. Enter woods from there on bridges trail (not first right but 2nd. Then basically continue always bearing left...will eventually find yourself back at parking lot. I found this to be the best route...it is nice and fast. Go early on weekends to avoid any dog walkers and sometimes horseback riders. But, for the most part it is all mtb-ers out there. I would rate Clayton as "moderate" because it is bascally packed dirt surfaces. But, a quick fun ride for all experience levels.

Good trail for a jog, too small for biking. Watch out for the horse poop! Very crowded on nice days. OK when temp below 35 degrees and you want a quick ride. Only would recommend if you live very close.
