Trail Description:
Good trails everything from single track to fire road. You have about 20 miles of trails that you can ride on. Plus there is a bike path that goes through the park for anyone who doesn't ride off road. On ground camping .

How to get there:
From Wisconsin: Take I-90 East. Take the Rockton Road exit and head West. Go about 2 miles and head north. You will go about 10 miles and will come to the intersection of US 251 and IL 173. Turn east and follow the road for about 8 miles to entrance.

From Chicago: Take I-90 West. Turn east on the Riverside Road exit. Head down about 1 mile (second light) turn right on Perryville Road. Follow this road for about 2-3 miles. You will come to Harlem Road. Turn Right and follow to entrance.

Trails are defintely intermediate, options are plenty though, and the park also offers a beach and rock climbing. Great overall.

Directions say go north from Rockton Rd. It should be go SOUTH. My rating of the trail is unknown. I ahd to rate to get my comment entered.

The trails are nice and packed, and is fun when you are wet. I like the fact that most trails you can go on with your bike. The park is clean and there is also a small place to rock climb and a lake to fish.

Its the only place close enough to get out to avidly. They have recently reopenned alot fo the good singletrack. There are a few good variations of loops you can make that provide a fun, cardiovascular, and variated ride. Not the funnest in the rain in some parts, but when dry is can be a blast.

The directions are incorrect. From Wisconsin, you must exit Rockton Rd and travel South on 251 for 8 miles. Then left on 173 until you reach the park. I would bet it is about 4 miles on 173.

I've riden theses trails for over ten years... Very intermidiate but provide a good cardio workout...There are very few single track trails that have unfortunately been closed off... Almost all open trails for bikes are double track + ...
