Just thought I should mention that some very entertaining and challenging single track has been reserected and some new lines are being cut in. No freeride stunts or jumps but you can put together some really good rides. The faster you go the more technical everything is. I would say to appreciate what lord hill does have takes a fit skilled rider. I hope more people start riding at Lord hill. The fun mtb trails, the equestrians don't even know about. keep your eyes out for discrete trail entrances.

Just bought my first mountain bike and went for my first ride. I cruzed every trail and had fun. A good place to start as any.

As a local homeowner whose equestrian family uses this trail frequently, I totally agree with Manimal that this trail is a and a complete waste of time for the extreme dirt biker. My 7 and 5 year olds riding their ponies would just be in your way on those descents anyway. There are many other rides that are more appropriate, however, they aren't here in this park. On the other hand, we think this park offers a terrific close-in location for those very courteous and conscientious riders who don't mind sharing the trails with others. They are the lucky ones who can benefit from a satisfying ride without having to deplete their gas tanks getting there.

Not all that special for mnt biking, its really just a fair grade up/down for most of the ways with some steep parts here and there, which by the way I might add will take the breath out of you unless you are in very good shape. I didnt come across any jumps or fun stuff.. but you can build up some serious speed on the way down, just be careful not to run anyone over. Also lots of vibration from the rocky terrain as your'e speeding down. Last time I was up, there was plenty of stingy nettle to swat at your legs, so something to keep in mind. You can see a pretty cool satellite view of the park here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=cashmere,+wa&ll=47.859706,-122.054329&spn=0.005212,0.017853&t=h&om=1

Trails have been a little on the muddy side after the reccent rains. This place still is a great place to train for other better rides in the area. Yep, Im from Monroe, but that shouldn't stop anyone else who just wants to put in some good miles and get a little dirty in the meantime. Saturday work parties this month have really helped eliminate some of "worst" mudd holes - Kudos to all who continue to work on these trails.

You know every time I go here I cant help but imagine what this place could really be. Right now it is average, yes there are some descent trails but seemingly there could be many more. Is it worth the drive? Maybe, if you live in Monroe.

I have been riding here for almost a year now. Lots of great climbs, steep granny gear type, short but they get your pulse raging. Lots of loops, and even some "non-park" trails that are a real gas. Just go and be ready to have a lot of fun. Be aware this is also heavily used by horses.

I just thought I should mention that this is a privately owned area - horse people have allowed others to use this area as well, be courteous, and we may continue to have a great place to ride our bikes for along time. Also I have gotten some shocked but happy looks from the horse lobby by doing a "little" bit of trail building here. This kind of activity goes along way to developing a good thing. This trail system closes in the winter, but still many good rides for bikes on the steep fire rodes in the park.
