Trail Description:
A fun trail located in the city. The trails are shared with motorcycles and there are several to choose from. The trails criss cross each other with lots of twists, stream crossings, logs, and other obstacles. Ride in about three miles, then it really opens up to a bunch of trails. In the middle of summer, the trails can get loose and sandy.

How to get there:
Take K15 south to 47th street. Turn West and the trail starts right before the bridge about 1 mile from K15. There are several ways into this trail system.

There are more trails north and south of the 63st and 83st bridges that cross the Arkansas River (south of 47th). These trails are far more extensive.

i personally have not ridden this trail but i am responding to another comment about other trails. there is a sweet singletrack trail on the east side called miller's meadow. it is really worth checking out for an afternoon ride. for more info google kansas singletrack society

as previous rider said, the thorns are very bad. they really blew on the unmarked cliff leading into the biggest thorn patch you ever seen. ouch!!!!

As indicated in the trail description-the trail is very loose and sandy. There also seems to be a lot of debris surrounding the trail. Not too sightly. Aside from that had to replace both tubes after picking up about 20 thorns.
