There are a variety of trails to choose from. First timers out here should ride with someone who is familiar with the area.

Trail Description:
Though this park has a wide variety of trails, it is easy to get over your head here. The Bebe Trail is one such example. This 4 mile trail is extremely technical. Large rocks and extremely technical and steep singletrack make this an advanced ride. Use extra caution when riding during hunting season. Wear bright colors. The rest of the trails are fun but do offer a variety of experiences. What may start a gentle roller might have some very challenging terrain.

How to get there:
From New York City take the Hutchinson Pkwy to HWY 684 to HWY 22 to HWY 23. Make a left at the sign for Beartown State Forest and follow the signs all the way to the park.

The Beebe trail and other ATV trails in Beartown are not for beginners, but they are not hard core by any means. The trail is 100% rideable without any fancy freeride moves. Lots of short steep climbs to give you a good workout. Watch for big mud pits in early season.
